Event Description

Schweitzer will be opening for the season this Friday, November 27th. Lifts scheduled to operate are The Basin Express Quad and Musical Chairs, with groomed skiing on Midway and Happy Trails.

Snowmaking operations continue on both trails. Additional lifts and trails will be assessed in the coming days as the snow continues to fall --- we need another 8 to 12 inches for good coverage off the top of the mountain

Thanks guys - The event was awesome! We had a little over 200 people show up, all the sponsors THREW DOWN as far as prizes went and pretty much everyone left with something :)

geography smeography - what matters is that we have 5 mtns in 2 hours! I don't have a favorite, they all have different things that are awesome about them. I did really enjoy the early season riding at 49 though! Poached some SSSIIICCCKKK runs :D
